Incredible work by our stalwarts Azin Naghibi and Hesam Orouji. These two are a powerhouse couple who sacrifice so much of their personal time to not just fight for Iran, but also for other communities.

On the eve of the 47th anniversary of the passing of the Shahanshah Aryamehr, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, the king who with all his being loved Iran and Iranians and dedicated his life to the glory, prosperity, and splendor of this land, we come together once again to cherish his eternal memory and legacy.

I am deeply saddened by the sudden passing of Senator Lindsey Graham, a steadfast friend of the Iranian people and a proud defender of freedom.

Australia is home to a proud and vibrant Persian community that has made an enormous contribution to our nation. For many years, Persian Australians have courageously advocated for freedom, democracy and human rights in Iran, while standing in solidarity with family and friends who continue to suffer under repression. Reza Pahlavi has emerged as a leading international voice supporting the Iranian people's aspirations for democracy, human rights, women's rights, political freedom and the rule of law. Many members of Australia's Persian community, parliamentarians and civic leaders wish to hear directly from him about the present situation in Iran, the future of Iran and the aspirations of the Iranian people for a free and democratic society. Iran is one of the world's oldest civilisations, with a rich history, culture and heritage that extends far beyond the Islamic Republic. Following the global week of action for Iran's liberation, we invite you dear compatriots in Brisbane to stand together once again and be the voice of justice for the Iranian nation on the death anniversary of the criminal leader of the Islamic Republic.

Not sure if the man is there because he wants to show his devotion to the cause or because he didn't quite prove his devotion.  Only in Iran.

The moment of death and destruction of the criminal leader of the Islamic Republic, and the day of burying his corpse, is a moment that will not be erased from the memory of the Iranian nation.

Confession under torture, crimes against god, or even just speaking up for freedom, are all it takes for another beautiful life to be taken. Why oh why does the world look away? 

I didn't march with my Iranian sisters in 2022. I didn't even know they were marching. But when my family in Israel was attacked on October 7th 2023, the Iranians came to stand with us. The depth of the relationship we have built has meant the world to me. And now, I know, it is a two way street. We must stand with others in the same way we expect them to stand with us.
