Whenever I start a painting, it always begins with an aspiration or an inspiration, that being its opening chapter, and the story does not end until it has found its new owner. I am hoping to finish this on time in order to take it to Scotland with me where it will find its forever home. It's more of an impression of the place, rather than a photographic representation. Time to write the final chapter. Five days to lift off!
